This contemporary set “breathes” a warm energetic exuberance, mainly through the brilliant orange of Carnelian & Agates and Rose Quartz and contrasted by black Onyx, Lava, Bone & Tourmaline. Just like the unexpected fire of a sunset, or the first flash of autumn leaf brilliance, Carnelian really has the power to captivate the wearer. The ancient Egyptians called Carnelian “the setting sun” and to this day it is believed that Carnelian brings great motivation, passion, and sense of happiness to the wearer.

What makes the necklace work so well are the contrasting shapes and materials, while being completely balanced around an organic 22k gold-plated focal piece – uncannily resembling coral polyps, the tiny architects of all coral reefs.

The statement earrings feature earthy orange Agate geodes with the mesmerizing patterns and hues found in these unique gemstones from Jaipur, India.  For me, the Agate geodes add a touch of organic elegance & vivaciousness, with their natural, irregular shapes and crystalline interiors.
