I have held onto this supersized Malachite pendant for almost a decade, because even then getting pendants in this size and quality for an affordable price was a stroke of luck! (Just the pendants sell between $200-$300 now).

Malachite is considered a rare gemstone in that the original deposits for the stones have been depleted, leaving behind very few sources. The Malachite pieces I have used in these sets are from the Republic of Congo, and of an unbelievable quality in the most delicious green.

The lustre of polished Malachite is of a richness that is hard to find in other gemstones and both the pendant, seriously sized bracelet clusters and earring stones are incredible eye candy. I kept everything else really understated to give the “stage” to the Malachite!

Mixed with 4 different silver-plated chains, this substantial Malachite bracelet feels very contemporary & whimsical in equal measure.
