There is simply no more uplifting combination than brilliantly hued tangerine, orange, crimson, magenta, and ruby. If you are looking for a bright, pick me up- my-way-piece, this statement necklace is for you! The inspiration for this necklace stems from 8 hours spent in a coral reef tidal pool in New Caledonia – filled from top to bottom with pink and orange anemones. I can also fill you in on a little secret: the reason why you are attracted to these, is because they represent a “basket full of ripe fruit”, something evolution has taught you to love! fruit like oranges, cherries, plums, peaches, … have attracted us since the earliest mammal evolution. In the very same way, this feel-good necklace has drawn you in. These hues are life-affirming and yummy for us humans and that is exactly what I tried to achieve with tangerine Carnelians, vermillion Garnet, fuchsia Agates & magenta Pearls Besides basic Ecology they look great with any black outfit – that little black dress or that black wool jumper in winter!

Like all our pieces it is handcrafted with love and care in our studio near Byron Bay. This eclectic limited-edition statement necklace is made from the following semi-precious stones and findings:

• Sea Sediment Jasper from Hong Kong

• Carnelian & Garnet from India
• Hematite chevrons (plated) from Hong Kong
• Agates from Brazil
• Set into a 22k gold-plated base from Istanbul
