N°99 Christmas 2025 Special Earrings

Eight Arms, Infinite Joy

If you’ve ever met a sleeping gloomy octopus, you’ll know — it’s a masterclass in colour theory. Their skin flashes from burnt orange to sea-glass turquoise to impossible jade, like nature practising joy in gradients. These earrings are my playful homage to that moment: 7.5 centimetres of underwater happiness, featuring chalcedony and green onyx from India, fiery carnelian and Brazilian agates, pearls from Shanghai, and recycled glass from the US.

I manage to stick my head underwater about 150 days a year, and since I met my first one a 4 years of age snorkelling in Croatia, the octopus has become my totem: curious, adaptable, gloriously unpredictable.
So this design isn’t just inspired by one; it channels one. A wearable reminder that beauty, like intelligence, doesn’t always need to shout — sometimes it just glows from within.
