Many years ago, I brought back a whole lot of carved Jade pieces from Singapore that were carved by a master carver ( I am ashamed to say I lost the certificate that came with each pendant stone).  And so finally, this red stunner finally found its perfect little black companions in form of Agates, Onyx & Spinel.  You can wear the necklaces separately, layer them or connect them for a mid or long necklace depending on your mood.

The overall design of this set is my love personal declaration to Japan.

I feel the Japanese love of the colour red is evident from small everyday items such as tiny sweets to bold coffee cups and elaborate kimonos. Its natural partner is black and together these strong colours give rise to a bold aesthetic.
But besides the incredibly powerful visual of red & black, it is the meaning that is so very important. Red is considered the most powerful colour in traditional Japanese society, representing strong emotions. Red also represents love and intimacy, including sexual desire and the life force and energy in people. Wow – so really – shouldn’t we all be wearing red & black?

Like all our pieces, it is one of a kind, handcrafted with love and care in our studio near Byron Bay.

• 22k gold-plated findings from Istanbul, Seoul and the USA
• Necklaces: short, can be varied via the extender chain or CONNECTED to create one mid- to long necklace!
• Statement Earrings length: 5.5cm
• A second small pair of earrings is set into elegant French ear wires, for when you want a little less!
