The Reef’s Map, Worn Close

The feeling of this jewellery set immediately pulls me back to one of those dreamy dives where you hover just above a shallow coral lagoon, watching sunlight ripple across carpets of soft corals and giant clams flashing electric turquoise. This set feels vibrant yet soothing — like floating on the very surface of a living tapestry. 

The necklace is very much a map of that experience. The soft aqua and seafoam green Agates & Amazonite beads follow the palette of a shallow reef shelf: the pastel blurs of sea squirts  and the dazzling flash of parrotfish scales.

 The silver latticework element in the pendant reminds me of the intricate patterns you find on brain corals or the branching structures of fire coral. The organic drop of Botswana Agate at the bottom mimics the impossible colours of a giant clam's mantle — the kind of electric, almost surreal blue that stops you mid-swim. I combined these materials deliberately to echo how all these reef creatures are connected, layers upon layers of unexpected beauty.

The earrings are an extension of that world:

• Bold Agate Geode slices (left)  framed in a simple silver setting, feel like you’ve scooped up a piece of reef magic to wear. They have that organic, asymmetric vibe that reef creatures flaunt — perfect without ever being rigid (6.2cm long). 
• The finer earrings, with more delicate silverwork and glinting Labradorite beads (top), reflect the sparkle of tiny reef fish catching the light as they dart through seagrass beds. 
• A third more geometric Amazonite short statement pair is like peering into a tiny tidepool, rich in colour and when you wear it is just mobile enough to suggest a little current.
