The Edge of Tangerine 

Diving at Julian Rocks recently,leopard sharks were slipping past, mantas were carving slow arcs through the blue, cods hovering with that ancient indifference—yet I stayed with a single, almost absurdly quiet scene: a dense cluster of feather stars, fifty or more, curled into themselves during the day, their arms folded tight, building an ombré that ran from deep black through burnt reds into the most saturated tangerine. It didn’t feel like biology, it felt composed—like colour had decided to organise itself.

That moment translated into this set through a strand of titanium-coated quartz that refuses to settle—soft, almost salmon in the shade, then igniting into a rich, electric tangerine in full light—held deliberately against lava, onyx and hessonite garnet so the colour doesn’t drift. The outer necklace carries that crinoid language, more ornamental, echoing the tension between curl and release, while the finer inner strand sharpens the line; both can be worn alone, stacked, or connected into one long, fluid form with their extender chains.
