N°23 Mother's Day 2025 Special Set

Sharp in Places, Soft Where It Counts

This set feels like the reef at its most animated—sun pouring down onto coral rubble, the surge tossing seaweed and light alike, and every crevice bustling with life. It brings me back to the crest zone, that narrow band where water and reef wrestle with each other in every tide and the colours are raw and wildly layered.

The necklace is designed like the crest zone itself—built in asymmetry and rich in contrast. There’s the softness of rose quartz, reminding me of coral polyps gently extended for feeding; the greens of faceted vesuvianite & Jade, evoking thick turf algae, Halimeda mats, and the mottled camouflage of grazing urchins and chitons. And then there’s that pop of burnt orange carnelian & agates—just like the electric flash of a wrasse or a sponge when the light hits just right.

Each bead shape and finish reflects how reef structure works—chaotic at first glance, but full of purpose. That polished pink rose quartz pendant at the base is calm and centred, like the moment you find a calm patch in the surge, breathe deep, and hover over an outcrop swarming with life.
It’s a long necklace but it can also be worn as a double strand shortie, like shown here.

As for the earrings, you have 2 pairs to choose from, depending on your mood:

• The rose quartz drops are simple and structured, much like coral recruits finding their place on newly exposed substrate. They mirror the pendant and repeat the sense of balance and pause in the set—grounding, soft, vital (5.3cm long).
• The silver starburst pair shout reef dynamism—they’re the reef’s apex moment of drama. Like feather stars, these earrings feel radiant. They match the green jade from the necklace and bring that feeling of marine energy bursting outward (6.3cm long).
