Apatite, Jade a Horse and a Very Good Mood.

Some pieces don’t whisper their arrival — they stride in. This horsehead is one of them. The carving has a wild, independent energy  — the spirit of a Brumby or a Mongolian steppe horse — which manifests in raw apatite, a stone that already carries its own inner glow. There’s something awesome about the colour: fresh, clean, translucent, as if pulled straight from an Australian spring tide.

The design fell naturally into place. The outer necklace is built from jade, whose soft opacity balances the hyper-clarity of the apatite, mixed with pearls, tiger eye, and recycled glass pieces from the US. The inner necklace mirrors the palette but brings extra architecture with tiny rectangular blue metallic-plated hematite, and a beautifully cut apatite cube at its centre. Both necklaces include small hammered Thai moon charms, subtle but grounding.

Wear either necklace alone, stack them for impact, or connect them into a mid-length or long strand. The colours do the lifting — vibrant without being loud, energising without chaos. They feel like the first warm day after rain.

The statement earrings hold the same luminous rhythm: raw Indian apatite, feather-light teardrops, mixed with jade and recycled glass. They’re shorter than my usual scale at 5.9 cm, but they carry presence without weight. The smaller pair keeps things soft and fresh, with deep blue tiger eye, jadeite, jade, and tiny apatites.

It’s a set built for clarity, lift, and that unmistakable blue-green optimism — the kind that can actually change a mood.
