N°184 Christmas 2025 Special Set

This set is like a study in contrast: the heat of Mexican Crazy Lace Agate against the cool discipline of blue. The focal stone — a exquisitely patterned slice from Chihuahua — feels like a full moon rising: concentric warmth, structured banding, and that subtle luminosity Crazy Lace is known for when it hits the right quality tier.
Against it, the blues pull the set into balance. Dumortierite from Sri Lanka gives a midnight-toned backbone; tiny blue Brazilian agates sharpen the transitions; and sea sediment jasper threads the line between earth and ocean.

Citrine plays a small but decisive role here. Historically, citrine sat alongside warm agates in both Etruscan jewellery and early Art Deco palettes — always used as a directional highlight rather than a wash of colour. That’s exactly what the five superfine faceted citrine droplets do here: micro-points of light that energise rather than dominate.

The cross pearl — rare, farmed over many years to achieve its sculptural form — interrupts the geometry with an organic shard of brightness. Silver-plated elements from Istanbul, Bali, and the US hold the whole palette steady.

Each necklace can be worn alone, stacked, or connected into a mid or long line — but the real magic is in how the warm moonstone glow and the cool blues sharpen each other, creating a palette that feels both modern and unmistakably intentional.

Warm Orbit, Cool Horizon

The earrings on the right were inspired by the intricate textures of the reef edges—the little hidden worlds tucked between boulders (7.3cm long). The Maliagano Jasper ovals show off those same warm sand-and-coral tones, layered and soft but unpolished. They’re topped with tiny Dumortierite and Kyanite elements, referencing the deepening blue of the ocean just beyond the reef.

The delicate silver setting adds a pop of brightness without taking away from the organic feel. When I wear these earrings, I feel quietly adventurous—like I know there’s a whole world tucked just below the surface, and I’m not afraid to go find it.
