N°16 The Wild Kind of Love Mother's Day Set

This set started with a chance encounter off Komodo, hovering over the impossible tissue of a giant clam, where colour didn’t spread outward but collapsed inward toward the exhalant siphon—a dark, almost absolute black that felt less like an opening and more like a gravity well, pulling everything into it, a kind of underwater galaxy where blues, greens, and flashes of gold spiralled and dissolved the longer you looked.

The labradorite pendant is my attempt to hold that exact moment, because it carries the same duality, sitting in a quiet, muted grey until the light shifts and it fractures into electric blue, turquoise, and gold, a Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde transformation that refuses to happen on demand. The outer necklace builds around that simple, softly heart-shaped labradorite, set into a mix of 22-carat gold-plated elements from Istanbul and silver-plated details sourced across Istanbul, Bali, and Jaipur, while smooth silver pearls and darker peacock-grey tones create a controlled rhythm, broken deliberately by gold and silver-plated hematite that sharpens the line. The inner necklace tightens the composition, and both can be worn separately, layered, or connected into one longer, uninterrupted line through the extender chains.

The three earring directions extend that same shifting energy, from high-grade labradorite drops left deliberately simple so the electric blue can speak (4.2cm long), to more fluid briolette forms with fine pearl movement (6.5cm long), through to a tiny mother-of-pearl dome for when you want something quieter.
