This one started with a night dive in Tulamben and a very specific encounter with an extraordinary nudibranch. Not just colour for the sake of it, but placement—controlled, deliberate. That electric magenta edge, the hit of tangerine orange, all held against a body that knows when to stay quiet. That’s exactly what this set does. It edits.

The design leans into contrast. Black does the heavy lifting—onyx and lava anchoring everything so the colour stays sharp. The central pendant is a high-grade crazy lace agate from Mexico, chosen for its internal movement—layered, almost topographic, structured without ever feeling flat.

The two necklaces are built for real wear. Individually, they’re clean and precise. Stacked, they add depth without clutter. Linked together, they extend into a longer, more fluid line. No wasted function.

Materials are doing real work here: crazy lace agate for rhythm, lava for matte texture, onyx for edge, hessonite garnet from India for that deep, glowing warmth, Brazilian agates for variation without distraction, and 22-carat gold-plated elements from Istanbul placed exactly where the eye needs to land.

The earrings follow the same logic while giving you range—smaller magenta agate barrels with hammered gold and a sharp hit of carnelian for something compact, a bold pair of agate geodes (6.2cm long) left deliberately simple because they don’t need help, and a more restrained option on French wires with onyx, garnet and carnelian, balanced and quietly sharp.

This set doesn’t soften unless you ask it to. It elevates a simple outfit without trying—and holds its ground when you decide to push further.
