    The mushroom coral, or fungiid coral, reveals an extraordinary anatomy where its central mouth is framed by rippling folds of tissue, edged with radiating structures that guide water and food toward its core. This striking geometry is both functional and sculptural, and it became the blueprint for these earrings.

    I worked with deep orange agate, champagne pearl, garnet, and carnelian, each chosen for their resonance with the coral’s fiery palette. Set into a 22k gold-plated base, the design mirrors the coral’s layered symmetry and rhythmic precision.

    I'd like to think that these earrings distill natural architecture into wearable form, a quiet reminder of how intricate reef life can be when translated into human craft.
