N°027 Statement Earrings - The Vanuatu Collection

The extraordinary pink tissue surrounding the mouth of a mushroom coral is both delicate and architectural, radiating in patterns that hint at rhythm and growth. It was this geometry and intensity that guided me in creating these earrings. At their centre lies Chiastolite, a stone with remarkable internal crystal structure — a natural cross that reflects its complex geology. Historically carried by pilgrims, Chiastolite carries with it a story of endurance and passage, which resonates beautifully with the timeless cycles of the reef.

The earrings combine this grounding stone with agates that echo subtle layering, and a single deep red pearl that punctuates the design with warmth and contrast. Each element is framed in a fine 22k gold-plated base, while the lattice-like metalwork recalls the coral’s radiating tissue folds.

For me, these earrings hold the same allure as the coral itself: an intricate balance of resilience and beauty.
