N°023 Statement Earrings - The Living Ocean Colour Collection

Lime, Magenta, Perfectly Balanced

Certain colour combinations feel so improbable they border on theatrical, yet on the reef they exist without hesitation. This pairing arrived through the lens of a mushroom coral viewed from above, its surface saturated in vivid lime green and fluorescent magenta, a product of protective pigments that to increase the coral's resilience.

Beyond the colour, the coral carried a quieter intrigue. Two mouths occupied a single colony, the lasting outcome of an early-life fusion in which neighbouring larvae settled close enough for their tissues to merge, forming one shared organism whose structure preserves that unlikely beginning.

These earrings trace that same visual tension. Lemon jade from Canada anchors the composition with its opaque yellow-lime presence, dendritic opal introduces soft organic patterning, while pink pearls and subtle flashes of peridot refine the rhythm of colour and light. The asymmetry invites movement, yet the overall balance remains deliberate and composed.

Set into silver-plated elements sourced from Jaipur, Istanbul, and Seoul, they resolve into pieces defined by colour, energy, and unmistakable presence.

At 6.7 centimetres long, they are designed less to decorate and more to shift the mood.
