Blue-green with Depth and Energy

This colour combination is my eternal go-to if I need a lift of spirits!
Deep royal blue slipping into teal, pulled from high-grade Congolese chrysocolla that doesn’t mute or behave. It’s the same spectrum I chase in rock pools, where tiny algae glow at full power, turning light into energy. That’s where this started. Biology first, ornament second.

To sharpen the colour conversation, I added small cubes of apatite and green onyx from India—clean geometry interrupting fluid stone. Everything is set in silver-plated metal, branching organically rather than chasing symmetry.

At 7.2 cm long, these earrings don’t whisper. They lift the face, cut contrast, and wake everything up. I wear this palette because it works—on algae, on stone, on skin. It’s my personal pick-me-up, my lift-colour combination, and I make no effort to outgrow it. Some colours don’t need explaining.
