N°017 Statement Earrings - The Vanuatu Collection

These extraordinary anemones I photographed in Vanuatu—flushed with hot pink and edged in silvery luminescence—became the foundation for this design. Their tissue shifts between fluorescence and reflection depending on the light, a dynamic that I translated directly into the jewellery form.

The faceted slabs of labradorite, with their spectral flashes of blue and silver, echo the way the anemone’s surface catches and refracts light. Anchoring each earring is a vibrant hot pink agate drop, a chromatic mirror to the striking tentacle tips,complemented by tiny Carnelians and a reminder of how colour can serve both as attraction and defence in reef ecology.
These earrings, set into a silver-plated base, capture a fleeting underwater spectacle—bold, luminous, and alive—yet distilled into something wearable, carrying the reef’s quiet drama into any setting.
