N°014 Statement Earrings - The Vanuatu Collection

When I first encountered this stand of Acropora staghorn coral, I was struck   by the extraordinary flush of pink tips—a rare chromatic green-pink flourish marking each branch as if brushed by pigment.
It was this interplay of structure and colour that I translated into these earrings. The main stones are dragon vein agate, their internal fractures recalling the intricate lattice of coral skeleton and the way light filters through the water column. Above them, the morganite tops hold a delicate, crystalline pink that mirrors the living intensity of the coral’s terminal polyps.

The 22k gold-plated fittings, with their hammered texture, ground the stones in warmth and bring cohesion to the composition. For me, these earrings embody the dialogue between growth and colour on the reef—how biology produces architecture and art in the same gesture.

To wear them is to carry a fragment of that dialogue, a reminder of how beauty and resilience are written into every reef.
