Soft Colours, Strange Magic

Some encounters don’t feel entirely real, more like the reef briefly slipping into fantasy. On that dive, a burrowing anemone unfolded from the sand in impossible colour — a translucent aqua core breathing softly at its centre, tentacles dissolving into a blush pink halo that felt almost illuminated from within.

These earrings began as an attempt to hold onto that moment.

Prehnite from Congo carries that rare, aqueous luminosity, its telltale black manganese inclusions drifting through the stone like suspended ink, echoing the same soft transparency and internal glow of living tissue.
Blush-toned dendritic opal introduces warmth and structure, its delicate branching patterns grounding the composition without ever dulling the light. Set into a silver-plated base sourced from Istanbul, Jaipur, and Seoul, the stones resolve into a small study of fluidity, light, and colour behaving as one.

At 7.5 cm long, they move the way the anemone moved — quietly, hypnotically, impossible to forget.
