N°037 Statement Earrings - The Vanuatu Collection

During a night snorkel, I came across this extraordinary tube anemone, its pale core surrounded by radiating tentacles tipped with faint pink. By torchlight, the entire organism seemed both delicate and commanding, with symmetry that translated directly into design. Those structural cues became the blueprint for these earrings.

The deep triangular onyx forms the central anchor, echoing the strong geometry at the anemone’s base. Around it, filigreed silver-plated metal with tiny beaded detailing reflects the fine, repetitive architecture of tentacles. Above, soft rose chalcedony sits like paired lobes, balanced by flashes of garnet and watermelon tourmaline that add vitality to the composition.

I designed these pieces to capture the interplay of strength and fragility that defines the anemone’s anatomy. To me, they carry the same quiet energy I felt underwater—an invitation to step closer, to notice the intricate balance between structure and flow.
