This pair traces back to one of those moments — a tiny squid, no more than seven or eight centimetres long, yet delivering a chromatic performance wildly disproportionate to its size. Suspended in open water, its body pulsed with shifting light, a living constellation of electric tones flickering across translucent tissue. It did not feel like observing an animal. It felt like watching light re-organise itself.

At the centre, dendritic opal carries that same visual language. Manganese dendrites branch through pale stone like ink dispersing through water, forming patterns that feel both organic and uncannily graphic.
