Woooheee – I am such a great time gilding bleached lava! Every little bead looks like a map of a long lost world!

Below are the spoils of half a day of gilding, brushing and filing- this eclectic summer antler necklace! The lava is from Indonesia (gilded with 24k gold leaf), freshwater pearls from Shanghai, raw Lapis Lazuli from Afghanistan and 22k gold-plated Antlers from Istanbul!
