It is said the Inuit have 40 different words for snow because they have such a strong connection to it. The same is true for us and red tones. No other colour evokes such a fine linguistic & emotional response as red (garnet, blood- red, coral, merlot, jerry, rose, jam, magenta, crimson, ruby...).
