A Serious Case of the Ceylon Blues

Sri Lanka seems to have invented its own spectrum somewhere between blue and green. It is in the Indian Ocean shifting from turquoise to impossible cobalt, in palm-shadowed lagoons, painted doors, saris, lotus flowers and those extraordinary flashes of colour that seem to appear everywhere once you start looking for them.

In these earrings, I have tried to translate that extraordinary blue-green side of Sri Lanka through faceted Chalcedony from India, Pearls and tiny Moonstones from Sri Lanka set into a silver-plated base from USA, Jaipur & Seoul (7.6cm long).

Like all our pieces, these one-of-a-kind earrings are handcrafted with love and care in our studio in Lennox Head.
