Its fractured landscapes of drifting oranges, soft greys, and ink-dark veins read like abstraction — bold, graphic, almost cinematic — while the longer you look, the more the stone shifts. What first feels like a painting begins to resemble terrain, memory, something ancient hiding inside something contemporary.

That tension mirrors the encounter that sparked these earrings: the thorny oyster. Dinner-plate in scale, its mantle tissue folds like silk when open, luminous and fluid, while the shell becomes a crowded world of sponges, ascidians, bryozoans, algae — an ecosystem negotiating space on a single living structure.
