N°60 Mother's Day 2025 Special Set

Blue Shift 

I was really tempted to call this set "Jewellery for Women Who Operate Just Below the Thermocline” - that marine zone where temperature and often light change rapidly.

This design is an homage to the twilight zone of the reef—the sharp descent into deeper waters where blue light rules, shapes distort, and things get a little more… interesting. Inspired by vertical coral walls of Komodo, this set captures that plunge into layered indigo and geometric shadow.

The necklace is anchored by four strands of faceted royal blue agate, flowing into a brushed 22k gold-plated gold disc with etched striations—like sunlight fractured by water.
Asymmetrical sections of lapis lazuli, aquamarine, crazy lace agate, recycled glass and mother-of-pearl elements mimic the variety of forms found in reef drop zones: angular sponge forms, calcified algae plates, and striated colonial corals.
One side stays sleek and uniform. The other? Structurally unpredictable—on purpose.

There are two Earrings options to match your marine mood:

1.Domed 22k gold-plated ovals with deep lapis lazuli + micro-facets – commanding, bold, bio-luminescent energy (5.5cm long).
2. A tiny drop hook pair with pale raw aquamarine + lapis lazuli – cool, clear, uncomplicated. Set into elegant French ear wires, for when you want a little less!

It’s reef architecture, restructured for the neck—and yes, it’s totally fine to call it wearable marine geology.

Like all our pieces, it is handcrafted with love and care in our studio near Byron Bay. These eclectic limited-edition statement earrings are made from the following semi-precious stones and findings:

• Lapis Lazuli from Afghanistan
• raw Aquamarine from India
