Worn Like a Drift of Living Colour

Gliding slowly over a shallow reef, I’m surrounded by the gentle hum of life — a tapestry of soft corals, darting fish, and the rolling sway of seagrass. There’s a peacefulness here, a conversation in colors and textures between every living thing. This jewellery set captures that whispering dialogue: the effortless movement, the layered richness, and the deep sense of belonging to an ancient, breathing world. It's like carrying the memory of those vibrant underwater moments into everyday life.

The necklace rises like a living reef wall, layered with gradients of blue, lime green, and soft teal — just like the meeting place of sea and shore. Each bead Agate and Jadeite feels like a different element: smooth green stones like rounded seagrass pods, glistening blue gems like darting shoals of fish, and muted aquas like the pale shimmer of shallow waters over sandbanks.

The striking central Agate pendant, an organic shape painted in rippling greens and earthy tones, is like a piece of the reef itself — an ancient coral fossil polished by time and tide, full of life’s swirling imprints. It grounds the necklace, giving it a timeless oceanic strength.

The earrings are like little offshoots of the reef scene:

  • The delicate drop earrings, with their soft blue beads, feel like the quiet shimmer of tiny reef fish weaving through the coral branches, their movements fast but full of grace.
  • The bolder earrings are showcasing a unique matrix of Chrysocolla from Congo: turquoise ocean blue against sandy yellow stone, mirror the necklace’s central story: a tribute to the reef’s structure and heartbeat(6.6cm long).

I'd like to think that the earrings don't just match the necklace — they extend its life, like the reef’s branching corals spreading outward into an ever-widening circle of connection.
