N°108 Statement Earrings

Anemones are like a Leitmotif in my work, and it's not really surprising, given the amazing colour combinations they occur in, like this vibrant sea anemone captured on the right during a dive at Komodo Island.

The green tentacles of the anemone are echoed in the smooth, organic hue of Australian Chrysoprase gemstones, while the deep, electric purple of the anemone’s base  mirrored in the striking agate geode slices. The gold-plated edges (bezels) of the Agate resemble the fluid movement and luminescence of the anemone’s body, creating an ethereal, oceanic aesthetic - at least this was my intention!
