Apatite & Peridot: Borrowed From a Sea Squirt Dreamscape

That moment arrives without warning — brown sediment, muted rubble — and then suddenly the reef "explodes" into colour. Electric blue, neon green, absurdly saturated ascidians clustered like tiny biological lanterns, the kind of palette that feels stolen from an 80s synth video rather than a seafloor. 

To translate that impossible cheerfulness, appetite was the only logical choice, that luminous, almost liquid blue the French already claimed as blue ciel, sharpened here into long drops measuring 6.9 centimetres. 

Set in a 22-carat gold-plated base from Jaipur, the stones are punctuated by raw peridot drops and tiny green onyx beads, mirroring those improbable bursts of living green.

The effect is pure visual dopamine — bright, kinetic, unapologetically joyful — jewellery that doesn’t simply catch light, but seems to generate its own atmosphere wherever it moves.
