Dragon vein agate is a beautifully deceptive stone, because the white, black, and layered greens never quite settle into anything you can call solid; they hover, they flicker, they create that peculiar illusion of translucency where the surface feels almost weightless yet visually dense.

That same optical contradiction is exactly what stopped me in my tracks when I first encountered a rhinoceros sea star, whose skin reads less like biology and more like some elaborate structural design — gradients of green sliding from pale to abyssal, patterns that feel engineered rather than grown.

The earrings follow that visual tension with deliberate precision.
