    There are only two gemstones that have their own light phenomena, so called Adularescence: Moonstone & Labradorite
    The chemistry is complex and I don’t want to bore you, but the exuberant schiller of Moonstone and the rainbow- Labradorescence get me every time again.
    I have only recently started to mix these two devine stones ... but now I just love it.
    I used white pearls and tiny flashes of black Onyx & Spinel as the conduit that brings it all together in this mixed metal set.
    I photographed this set once in the shade and once in the sun to bring out the schiller as it changed under different light conditions.

    This one-of-a-kind statement set is made from the following semi-precious stones and findings:

    • Labradorite from Madagascar
    • Moonstone from Sri Lanka
    • Pearls from Shanghai
    • Spinel from India
    • Onyx from Brazil
    • silver-plated beads and parts from Istanbul, Jaipur & Bali
    • Necklaces: short, can be varied via the extender chain or CONNECTED to create one mid- to long necklace!
    • Statement Earrings length: 6.1cm
    • A second small pair of earrings is set into elegant French ear wires, for when you want a little less!
