Thistles and Blue Skies: A Love Story in Gemstones

This four-piece set builds itself around apatite—that impossibly clear, celeste-blue gemstone the French named after their skies. Historically mistaken for other stones (its name comes from apatē, Greek for “deception”), apatite has always been the shapeshifter of the mineral world. Here, it’s the opposite: unmistakable, radiant, and front-and-centre.

The outer necklace is a celebration of colour and texture—Indian apatite in brilliant sky-blue, jade and jadeite in their cool, serene greens, tiger eye for warmth, stick pearls for luminous irregularity, and tiny shards of recycled glass echoing lagoon tones. The inner necklace is more restrained: tiny apatite cubes, jade, jadeite, and a silver-plated thistle pendant—that ancient emblem of resilience and wild beauty. The same thistle motif reappears in the statement earrings, a long, elegant 8 cm drop of apatite and jade framed in silver. The smaller earrings stay playful with tiger eye, prehnite, jadeite, and apatite.
Naturally, you can wear each necklace alone, stack them or connect them to create mid length or long necklace!
