Red River Jasper With a Wild Streak

The moment I found that Red River Jasper Celtic knot, the whole set snapped into focus — like the stone had already made its own demands and I was just catching up. 

I leaned into the wildness of it — those rich red and orange veins running like fault lines across the Jasper — and built around it with elements that felt equally alive: tiny chameleons, champagne pearls, and warm Brazilian agates that glow when the light hits them. I let the textures stay a little unruly, with small appendage-like details, the kind of forms you’d expect on an imaginary earth-dwelling creature. Harmonious, but not domesticated.

Each necklace stands powerfully on its own, but when you stack them, the palette ignites. And of course, they can lengthen into a mid or long necklace — that’s where the whole creature stretches out and shows its full geometry. All the goldwork is 22k plated from Istanbul, chosen for warmth rather than drama.

The statement earrings pushed the story even further. Those agate circles are carved out of a single piece, which is rare — delicate to look at, but born from a much larger stone. Paired with a 22k gold-plated swirl from Seoul, Red River Jasper, pearls, and chameleon, they feel like artifacts from a mythology that almost existed.
The tiny pair, on long French hooks, keeps the mood but lowers the volume.

I created this set to celebrate the kind of beauty that doesn’t behave — warm,like a pan of warm autumn vegetables , and absolutely sure of itself.
