Of Pearls and Crows

Every morning at five, the crows remind me who’s really running this show. They’re loud, brilliant, slightly menacing philosophers — capable of recognising faces, holding grudges, and, I suspect, critiquing my work ethic from the gum tree.

So when I designed these 6.1 cm earrings, I thought: why not bring together two masters of transformation — the crow and the pearl? One turns irritation into beauty; the other turns mischief into intelligence. Both are darkly elegant, timeless, and just a little subversive.

Set into a gold & silver plated base from Istanbul & Seoul, these earrings balance the raw intellect of the sky with the serene wisdom of the sea — a conversation between neurons and nacre.

They say crows remember faces. Let’s hope they remember these.
