Komodo Island has a way of gifting secrets if you’re paying attention. I found mine in the smallest of architects: filter-feeding polychaetes, building themselves in modular spirals so delicate they seemed woven from breath. That quiet engineering lingered in my mind, and eventually became these earrings.

Inside a 22-karat gold and silver-plated vase, a Shanghai pearl rests like a held note. The 7.5-centimeter form feels both ancient and newly invented — antique silver grounding the design, gold rising forward with a glow that tilts toward the future.
