Komodo’s Secret Palette

Some inspirations hit you like a splash of cold water — others glow up from the depths. Thirty metres down off Komodo, in the flickering light of my dive torch, I met one of the ocean’s best-kept secrets: a tube anemone with a neon-green heart wrapped in blushes of orange, amber, and champagne. A living firework in slow motion.

I surfaced knowing I had to bottle that glow somehow. The result: these earrings — a cascade of Picasso Jasper from Utah (the most rebellious stone of the lot), stacked with Indian hessonite garnet, peridot, and agate, all chained together in 22k gold-plated hardware from Istanbul and Seoul (7.5cm long).

They shimmer like the anemone’s tendrils in the tide — fierce, flirty, and unapologetically flamboyant. Proof that sometimes, the deeper you dive, the brighter it gets.
