The starting point was a clownfish and its anemone off Papua New Guinea — an encounter less about biology than pure chromatic impact. Against the reef’s pale scaffolding, the scene pulsed in tangerine, vermilion, and magenta, colours that operate as both camouflage and signal, attraction and defence. That paradox became the brief.

These 6.8 cm earrings, set into a 22-carat gold-plated base from Seoul and Istanbul, transpose that underwater spectrum into wearable balance. The orange frequencies evoke energy and optimism; the magenta introduces pulse and warmth. Together they create what colour theorists call active equilibrium — tension held elegantly in place.
