The Green That Glows Without Trying

There are moments underwater that make you stop breathing—not because you’ve run out of air, but because nature just outshines imagination. That’s what happened when I met this fluorescent anemone, glowing in the filtered light of a mangrove forest like an alien chandelier.

I tried to capture that moment of impossible colour with these earrings: milky, opaque green onyx from India, quietly luminescent and doing all the talking. I added just the barest punctuation—tiny accents of hessonite and garnet, and a 22k gold-plated base from the US and Seoul. They’re 7.4 centimetres of pure restraint: sleek, striking, and alive with their own light. Think of them as simplicity with a bang—a conversation between earth and ocean, spoken in perfect green.
