    Labradorite is my favourite gemstones – but photographing its mesmerising Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde nature… drives me a little insane every time. 
    The real heroines of these statement earrings are blue-green flashy Labradorite focal stones, which are so hard to photograph, because it is the angle of light that determines how we perceive them. Appearing grey at first sight (second image), these stones shimmer in fiery blue-green  in this stone, aptly called “Labradorescence”, when the angle of the light is just right and when they are not in full sun! 

    Labradorite is my favourite gemstone – and here the fiery stones are set into ornate silver triangles which turns them into a imaginary silver plankton creature – at least in my mind!  Paired with Amethyst, Agate & smooth pearls, they look whimsical and contemporary in equal measure!

    Amethyst (considered the stone of calming energies), Agates (the stone of self-empowerment) and Pearls set into a cool silver-plated base from Athens, Jaipur & Seoul- what can possibly go wrong (7.4cm long)?.

    Like all our pieces these one-of-a-kind earrings are handcrafted with love and care in our studio in Lennox Head.
