N°1411 Statement Earrings

I normally focus on the Mother of Pearl on the inside of their much larger cousins (Abalone; Paua), but the silver-plating of the outside of this Haliotis shell opened up completely novel ways to use them in a design. They weigh close to nothing, so even with some sizable pearls and tiny Moonstones, these very minimalist earrings are very lightweight (7.6cm long).
