N°23 Christmas 2025 Special Earrings

Close to my studio at Boulder Bay, I found a tiny world inside a rock pool — colonial ascidians in creamy tones and flashes of crustose pink coralline algae, sprawling across dark volcanic stone. The surface mirrored it all perfectly, like nature’s own Rorschach test. That fleeting reflection became these earrings: Rhodochrosite from the Andes, framed in gold and silver, each band of pink and grey echoing the tide’s quiet architecture.

Once believed by the Incas to be the solidified blood of kings and queens, Rhodochrosite found its second life in 1920s Art Deco, when bold geometry met soft power. Today Rhodochrosite is very much revered as stone sof self-love and healing all over the world. 

These earrings aren’t shy—they’re tidal poems in metal and mineral, for those who see beauty in reflections, in depth, and in saltwater clarity.

They are 7.3cm long and set into a 22k gold & silver-plated base from Jaipur & Seoul.
